So if you’re like me, “gardening” is kind of a relative term. I mean I try, I really do – I created a memorial garden when my cat died nearly 2 years ago and it’s actually a very nice garden, but living in this climate, and trying to keep plants alive, can be problematic!

That’s why you should attend the Gardening in a Dry Climate Fair this Saturday, March 1, where they’ll have exhibits, and educational opportunities, and special guest speakers such as Amy Yarger from the Butterfly Pavillion who will be speaking on native pollinators and their habitats, and Micaela Truslove from the Broomfield CSU Extension Office who will talk about the Emerald Ash Borer.

It’s from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Broomfield Community Center, 280 Spader Way.
